Cessna Citation CJ1

The CJ1 is perfect for executives, individuals and companies looking for an economical private jet for short-range trips, of 1 – 3 hours.

The CJ1 is extremely fuel-efficient, burning an average of 505 litres per hour. The economy of its fuel burn can be largely attributed to Cessna’s choice of engines. It uses two Williams/Rolls-Royce FJ44-1A turbofans.

The simplicity (but reliability) of its flight systems; Pro Line 21 avionics package, complete with PFD (Primary Flight Display) and MFD (Multi Function Display) flat-panel screens contributes to the CJ1’s low comparative operating cost. The CJ1 is the first business jet to be equipped with these screens (much larger Boeing Business Jet).

Despite the CJ1’s economy in flight, it allows for a surprisingly high payload. Its three baggage compartments can carry up to a total of 380 kilograms of luggage. Specially designed to be able to operate on short runways the CJ1 can take off in 3,080 feet sea level.

Increases in payload capacity of 635 kilograms and maximum fuel of 1450kg have yielded improved range/payload flexibility, offering client more options in flight planning and route diversity."
